See-Do Collective 2018
Working with the See-Do team, we designed the interiors for Second Shift Studio Space, a nonprofit residency program that offers free, year-long studio residencies to four artists/makers/thinkers who identify as women or who are gender non-conforming. See-Do led the design of transforming an old linoleum shop into a gallery with four studio spaces. We thought critically about the experience of the residents and how to create a space that would support them creatively. Through sliding partitions, curtains, and lighting we create a framework allowing for privacy and display for the creatives to flourish.
