I created a pair of Comfort-Tops for a performance during the opening night of Comfortably Close an exhibition by Jordan Rosenow. Two performers hugged each other for thirty minutes bringing an extended expression of intimacy into the public sphere. I created two Comfort-Tops out of one twin sized comforter. I repurposed a used comforter that matched the color palette of Comfortably Close and used my great grandmother’s sweater as a base for the pattern. The fluffy tops added another layer of intimacy and comfort to the opening performance.
